Philly Cheesesteak Pizza

SO delicious.

Ingredients:
-pizza dough
-steak (however much you like)
-green pepper (1 or 2, depending on how you like it)
-sweet onion (1)
-mozzarella cheese (about a pack and a half)
-Worcestershire sauce (2 T)
-Italian seasoning (1/4 tsp.)
-Classico alfredo sauce (maybe 1/4 cup?)

Directions:

Prepare pizza dough.

Cook steak and cut into small pieces.

Marinate steak in Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning for about 15 minutes, turning once.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cook peppers and onion in a little vegetable oil.

Add steak to the pepper and onion mixture.

Spread the dough evenly onto a pizza pan.

Spread alfredo sauce over pizza dough.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce to cover.

Spread steak, pepper and onion mixture over the cheese.

Sprinkle with some more cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

Korean Barbecued Beef

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. beef boneless top loin or sirloin steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 T sugar
  • 2 T sesame oil (or vegetable)
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 3 medium green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped (1 t. minced)
  • hot cooked rice
Directions
  1. Cut beef diagonally across grain into 1/8" slices.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients except rice in medium bowl. Stir in beef until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  3. Drain beef; discard marinade. Heat 10" skillet over medium heat. Cook beef in skillet 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until brown. Serve beef over rice.

Steaks with Garlic Butter

from "If it Tastes Good, Who Cares?"

Ingredients:
  • steaks
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • dash Worcestershire sauce
Directions:

Melt margarine and add seasonings. Dip steaks in butter mixture and broil or grill, basting several times.

Grandma Lila's Slow-Cooked Pepper Steak

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2-2 lb. round steak
  • 2 T cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 1/4 t. ground ginger
  • 4 tomatoes or 1 can (16 oz)
  • 2 large green peppers, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup water, cold
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • cooked noodles, rice or potatoes

Directions:
  1. Cut beef into 3"x1" strips; brown in oil in skillet. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  2. Combine the next seven ingredients; pour over beef.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until meat is tender.
  4. Add tomatoes and green peppers; cook on low for 1 hour longer.
  5. Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste; stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened.
  6. Serve over rice, noodles or potatoes.
makes 6-8 servings

Beef Stew

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • potatoes
  • baby carrots
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can beef broth

Directions:
  1. Put stew meat in crockpot.
  2. Chop potatoes into quarters and put in the pot (depending on how many you want).
  3. Chop onion (to your liking) and add to pot.
  4. Add baby carrots to pot.
  5. Mix cream of mushroom soup and beef broth in separate bowl, then pour over the other ingredients in the crockpot.
  6. Cook on low for 8-9 hours.

Stir Fry Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

1/2 c. cold water
2 T cornstarch
2 T soy sauce
1 lb. beef boneless sirloin steak
2 T vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 package (16 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli
1 c. orange juice
3 cups hot cooked rice

Directions:

1. Mix water, cornstarch, and soy sauce.

2. Cut beef with grain into 2-inch strips; cut strips across grain into 1/8" slices.

3. Heat 12" skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot. Add oil; rotate skillet to coat side.

4. Add beef, ginger, and garlic powder; stir fry about 3 minutes or until beef is brown.

5. Add broccoli; stir fry 2 minutes.

6. Stir in orange juice; heat to boiling.

7. Stir in cornstarch mixture; cook and stir about 1 minute or until thickened.

8. Serve with rice.


The Yummiest Steak Ever


Steakhouse-Style Grilled Steak

Makes:
4 servings

2 tsp. each brown sugar, garlic powder and onion powder
1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
4 beef tenderloin steaks (6 oz. each)
1 Tbsp. oil

PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Mix brown sugar and seasonings.

BRUSH steaks with oil. Sprinkle seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of steaks; press gently into steaks to secure.

GRILL 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Grilled Potatoes

Put seasonings in with slices/cubes of potatoes in a foil packet. Grill for 30-35 minutes. We used olive oil, parmesan cheese, italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Grilled Asparagus

  1. Preheat grill for high heat.

  2. Lightly coat the asparagus spears with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Grill over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired tenderness.
